Edith m. wolf perez, Austria

Austrian-born Edith M. Wolf Perez studied dance at the Laban Centre, London, and obtained her MA degree in European Cultural Policy from the University of Warwick. She worked as a dancer, dance teacher and therapist in London, Berlin and Vienna before turning to journalism as her main interest. She was one of the founders and managing editor of the Tanz-Affiche magazine and has since 2001 been working for the tanz.at online magazine. She has published numerous articles on dance and cultural policy issues in Austrian and foreign periodicals, books, journals, commemorative volumes and theatre programmes and translated a number of publications from English into German. A long-time member of the Advisory Council for Theatre Dance of the Offices of Cultural Affairs of the Cities of Vienna and Graz, she has also acted as PR advisor to various cultural institutions and as a project manager.
